Leasowe Castle, originally built in 1593, offers a combination of comfort and up-to-date facilities within a building of great history and character. It is the Head quarters hotel for the R&A when they visit Royal Liverpool in 2006.

Leasowe Castle offers privacy and tranquility for a meeting or private function. The Castle has meeting rooms of various sizes; the largest suite being able to accommodate up to 400 delegates. Many rooms have lovely views over the golf course and sea. There is ample free parking with the 6 acres of castle grounds.

Leasowe Castle has a choice of dining arrangments. The Castle Bar and Gardens, an informal bar with an all day menu and bar meals served in the evenings and more formal restaurant , Portcullis, offering a choice of table d'hotel menus and a la carte. Leasowe Castle has 50 en-suite guest bedrooms, all very comfortably furnished. There are two very luxurious four-poster suites, ideal for honeymooners or special celebrations. Both have furnishings and spa-baths.Most of the rooms have views over Leasowe Golf Course and the sea beyond - you can enjoy a sea view for just £10.00 supplement per night.

In May 2004 the hotel opened a health club, which offers residents and some local members a superb gym, large sauna and steam room, a separate lounge area and a large aerobics studio. The whole club is air conditioned and staffed by a team of qualified instructors who can give guidance on suitable fitness programmes.
